What exactly is a Virtual Assistant and do I really need one?

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A virtual assistant (commonly abbreviated to VA) is someone who works remotely to provide administrative services to another business. In Australia, most VA’s tend to work from home offices and provide services such as: social media management, email marketing, inbox management, cold calling, bookkeeping, invoicing, transcribing, document proofing, researching, data entry, database management and more. Basically anything that can be done on a computer can be completed by a VA.

So, how do I know I need a VA?

Do you have more work than you can cope with?

Is your day filled with replying to emails, posting on social media and following up leads?

Do you have work and potential leads falling through the cracks?

Are you overwhelmed with an ever growing to-do list?

Are you starting to fall out of love with your business?

Any or all of the above are signs that you need some help. As a business owner myself, I know it can be hard to let go. Finding that perfect person you gel with and trusting them with your inner business secrets is as daunting as all get up. But there comes a point where something has to give. Hello, I’m Michelle and I’m here to help!
